Working Moms

Working moms was created from a personal conflict that arose when I became a mother. I loved my profession and didn't want to stop working, however, I didn't want to be an absent mom either.
I interviewed hundreds of moms and realized this was not just a concern I had, but rather a massive and real need.

Working Moms’ mission is to help professional moms define and find balance in their lives to perform in all areas in their lives and to help companies have highly trained and productive staff in their companies. Companies with a good broad range of type of employees are proven to be more productive.

Research shows that among new executive moms, 43% feel that they return to work but are not involved by their peers at the workplace and lose interest, 25% never return.
In addition, men are also impacted: 3 out of 4 dads say that they want to spend more time with their children but fear the repercussions they will have at work.
This is why there is a great opportunity for companies to hire more women and have a better mixed workforce
A recent study by the Ministry of the Economy (Berlien et al., 2016) estimates that for every one hundred thousand additional women who enter the workforce, the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) would increase on average 0.65 percentage points in the country.
